Transportation

Rail service is provided both by the Amtrak and Hartford Line transportation companies. The trains are running between the nearby Windsor Locks and Windsor stations. Approximately eight trains are running at the south direction and about twelve at the north route from Windsor Locks. The plan includes implementing shuttle rides from every rail station to the airport directly.

Bus Route 34 connects Bradley with Windsor and Hartford, meanwhile, bus route 30, also called the ‘Bradley Flyer,' offers rides from the airport to the Hartford downtown. The last bus route is served by the Connecticut Department of Transportation, also known as CTTRANSIT. The 30 bus route is also operating as the semi-express bus service with the one-way fare of about $1.50. One of the places the course is serving includes the Connecticut Convention Center and Union Station in Hartford, the time for one ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The overall time for a ride from the airport to the Hartford downtown will take 1 hour; the trips are available seven days a week.

The buses depart from the outer roadway at the Terminal A and the International Arrivals Building.

Taxi service is available to provide a ride from the airport to any destination and back is needed. Fares for taxi range with the distance and destination, for instance, a trip from the Bradley Airport to Hartford will cost $45, from the airport to East Hartford and West Hartford fare is $42 respectively.
